The Oregon State Police (OSP) social media sites and online forums were created to provide people information and accessibility to OSP. These platforms are monitored and managed by the Oregon State Police’s Communications office. If you want to interact with OSP using these platforms, we ask that you follow our posting policy here. If you don’t comply, your message will be removed. OSP manages this page as a limited public forum and therefore the following conditions apply.

A posting/commenting on these pages constitutes acceptance of these terms.

In case of emergency, or if you need police assistance, dial 911. Do not use these pages to report a crime.

If you post information related to a crime on this page, you may be placing yourself in the position of becoming a witness to a crime and subject to subpoena and in certain situations endangering yourself or others.

“Friending” or “Following” between OSP and a citizen, organizations, or public officials does not indicate endorsement of that person’s actions or comments.

Comments posted by others on the OSP’s page are not to be considered the opinion of the OSP; nor does OSP endorse any third-party comments on this page.
